At Unplugged Outdoor, student safety is our primary metric. We maintain a strict 1:6 leadership ratio and partner with licensed activity experts to ensure every expedition is as secure as it is transformative.

INTEGRITY

Medical Disclosure:

Full transparency is required. Parents must provide a comprehensive medical history, including environmental/food allergies and current medication schedules.

Liability Waiver:

All participants must have a signed "Inherent Risk" waiver on file. This covers our core outdoor activities, including kayaking, cycling, and equine leadership sessions.

Emergency Contact:

We require two verified, 24/7 emergency contacts for every student. No student will be permitted to depart without confirmed contact protocols.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OF PARTICIPATION

By registering for this experience, families acknowledge that travel and outdoor activities carry inherent risks. Participation is entirely voluntary and contingent upon the following:

Safety Compliance: Students must follow instructions from chaperones and licensed activity providers at all times.
Risk Assumption: Organizers are not financially or legally responsible for injuries arising from the inherent risks of water-based activities, rugged terrain, or student behavior.
Medical Authorization: Parents/guardians authorize supervising adults to seek immediate professional medical care if necessary.
Financial Responsibility: Families are responsible for any medical expenses that may arise during the expedition.
